of Eleven
Kinsley & Jackson—the Starlight Festival has gone dark. Its final lantern will answer only to twins born under the eighth month’s eleventh moon.
Two keys. One birthday. A mystery built for both of you.
Chapter I · The Moon Gate
Prove the date
the stars chose you.
The gatekeeper’s face flickers in the stone. “Two arrived together. Two may pass together. Speak the number made by your month and day.”
Month first. Day second. No year.
Chapter II · Jackson’s Pixel Rune
The old game code
has lost its word.
Jackson, a forgotten arcade cabinet hums awake. Its six crystals blink in a pattern. Each number points to a letter: 1 is A, 2 is B, and onward.
Chapter III · Kinsley’s Star Map
Name what the stars
drew twice.
Kinsley, the silver map wakes beneath your hand. Two constellations mirror each other—different stars, one shape, always traveling side by side.
Chapter IV · The Upside-Down Wood
One final thing
follows you both.
The forest turns still. A voice speaks from nowhere:
“I copy your steps but make not a sound.
I grow in the sunset and hide underground.
In darkness I vanish; in daylight I’m found.”
